It was a dense three days of art viewing. Since I'm living in London I decided to immerse myself. I met a lot of interesting people and paused for conversations along the way with other viewers and gallerists. Here are some of the works that stood out for me.
FRIEZE at Regent's Park
Jennifer Rubbell self-portrait
some people were climbing into the belly and taking pics
Anne Hardy with Maureen Paley
This was a wonderful find at the end of the day. A small scale instatallation with two related photos on the wall.
Optically stunning sculpture by Jaume Plensa
Up the street from Frieze on Marleybone Road
A fair created by galleries for galleries, mostly showing emerging artists located in an underground warehouse
These two Bruce McLean paintings were the knockout of this fair.
And a couple of McLean details.
