Well, okay then, Notebook Drawings, 2010, permanent ink on paper, 5" x 8.25"


These drawings were made playfully and intuitively alongside the Biking in Berlin works. Whereas that set of drawings had a system in terms of how they were made, these drawings were free to emerge in the moment. The titles arrived in the same sessions as the drawings. Similar to earlier sets of drawings, the paper originates from a book which was disassembled to make the drawings. 

I don't attempt to explain them. I just enjoy their enigmatic playfulness. Some of them look like they want to be bigger or sculptural so I'm looking into those possiblities.
