The Summer Camp drawings were made in the midst of very hot summer days in the studio with the spirit of casual making that might happen at a picnic table at summer camp.
These drawings were made at a time when
I had been working with paint as a sculptural material, pouring it and allowing it to pool and become solid form. In many of these images, paint on paper depicts dimensional forms.
