The gallery was located in a renovated building with the original floor preserved. The variations in the diagonal floorboards mark earlier room configurations. Each of the current rooms of the gallery has a different connotation and use yet a section of the floor disregards those distinctions
and traverses all three rooms. The Floor in the Floor highlights this quiet transgression.
