Day 1:
Getting to know the space. Cleaning. Finding out what's there.
Black fabric found in trash pile in back room became the material for an animated drawing using one of the arches in the space as a frame.
In beginning to remove vinyl lettering from the front window, I decided to use the flexible linear forms to make a drawing on the window.
I found myself watching the people passing by, beautifully framed by the front window as seen from the back of the space. As I tried to catch each person in the window, I became aware that a new person or group passed by about every 30 seconds. Could be attributed to the gloriously sunny, hot day in Bath. A rarity.
