Day 6:
Today I almost didn't make it to the storefront at all. Too much work delayed my takeoff time. I just had one hour in the space so I moved quickly. It seems it was a good device to subvert anxious thoughts.

I often take on a task-like approach to making my work as a way of quieting my critical mind. If I trick it into thinking I'm just doing something mundane, it seems to go away.

I used the brief time today to do a quick repair job on the donated shelf and installed it in the window with the other two shelves. No plan, really. Just seemed like all the shelves should be together.

The other new addition today was two drawings on board. They introduce a new work: (Un)Claimed Drawings. I plan to make a series of drawings using mundane materials, possibly found on the street. The marks will be simple interventions then the drawings will be placed back on the street and documented. Later I'll return to see which ones have been claimed. The unclaimed drawings will be shown alongside photos of the claimed drawings.
