Early Works
In much of my work between 2000 to 2008, I was creating site-responsive drawing installations some of which were participatory. The materials chosen were what was found at hand…leftover latex paint, electrical tape, cardboard, scraps of wood. In each work, I was keen to circumvent my own desire to design and control but rather give myself over to a process of understanding and dancing with the character of the material and the nature of the space, both architectural as well as sociological.
