What is happening now
Collection of paintings, works on paper, and a drawing installation.
Making this work is a way of staying centered and present in a complex time of rapid change and instability. The elements included in the paintings are also physically present in the student and in the exhibition space creating an oscillation between real and depicted objects — a counterpoint to a world where so much of what we now experience may or may not be real.
